Communication

From watching the short video of "Texting while walking affects your balance" I highly don't recommend texting when walking. Not because of embarrassing moments and serious issues, but also thieves. The video didn't cover up about that thieves can snatch your phone out of your hands while your texting or listening to music. I use Google Voice to text, since i don't have service on my iPhone (I just use it for WiFi). So when I'm walking to the bus stop or anywhere I'm focus where I'm heading to. I don't have my phone in my hands. And when i get home my phone connects to the WiFi and right away Google Voice notifies me that I have a text, for i can text safely at home. For me texting is not a useful too besides if you are a calm

I think having a class that involves Skype is a great idea because it's like watching a movie. But you can actually reply to the person narrating the Skype call. But the ONLY downside is that the students or who ever is watching it doesn't have a good quality. I know for sure the presidents gather in a secret special room and they are using a software better than Skype but its more secure. And the presidents talk about things they need to handle. So if using Skype for a class, ill get a HD camera to see my audience better.

  1. That is a smart Idea to only use your phone at home, but there also could be a downside to that such as an emergency and you are not able to be contacted until you have WiFi. Besides that, what do you mean by you don't have service? and also what do you mean by, "For me texting is not a useful too besides if you are a calm."

  3. I agree with you on the part about thieves snatching other peoples phone. I think I've seen a case like this on the news once. I personally have an iPhone as well, but I don't really use Google Voice because of the fact that I don't like it.

  4. Many people texting while walking or driving and they don't recognize the dangerousness. They thought they could handle both things until accidents happened.

  6. When i was reading this article the first thing that popped out of my head was that they should make an app or add something to the phones to shut down when it is alerted when your about to cross the streets.
