Security and Privacy

According to the article of the Target attack, when the credit card was introduce it was a change already. A credit card uses a magnetic strip that hold your personal information. In the US credit cards and debit cards are used by alot of the population. So hackers have a wide choice of stealing majority of the peoples information. But in Canada and UK they have a more updated version of the credit card that has a little chip. The problem of credit card theft in those countries must had been a bigger concern forcing them to upgrade their security. USA should also use the same technology. An example I can compare this to is Microsoft. Microsoft has released a operating system called "Windows XP" around 13 years ago. But Microsoft is forcing the people and the business s' that have XP to upgrade because soon they will stop making updates and security will be at risk. 33% of the people that have PCs are at risk because if they don't, attackers may target, SPECIALLY business that have XP and steal information. Over all, not only to credit cards, security has to develop more faster and stronger because technology is advancing a little TOO fast. Even cars can be unlocked and started by using a iPhone, imagine a hacker hacking into your car and driving away with it? Security must be taken and developed VERY seriously.
